Before I had back pain, I used to enjoy activities like landscaping and travelling. I didn’t want to landscape anymore because it hurt too much to kneel and bend over. I was miserable. My lower back pain was horrible. I had pretty much given up on everything that I loved to do. And travelling was no longer an option because I couldn’t walk through the airport or ride in a car. Not to mention, I couldn’t participate in many activities because my back pain was so severe. I felt like I just lived in constant, horrific pain.
Why I chose Laser Spine Institute
My husband didn’t want to see me in pain anymore. When he saw a commercial for Laser Spine Institute, he begged me to let him email them. And he did. A Spine Care Consultant called us back and I’ll never forget what she said after they reviewed my MRI. She told me that there was hope — that Laser Spine Institute could help me find relief from my chronic back pain. And in that moment, it was like the heavens opened up because there was a chance that I could be fixed — that I could enjoy life again. Laser Spine Institute constantly exceeded my expectations. The care I received while at their facility was unlike anything I’d ever experienced before. It’s like you have an entire team behind you, cheering you on to success. Because they really do want to see you get better. They helped me through every step and really made my journey easy.
My life today
After my surgery, I felt immediate relief. It was amazing how good I felt. I have a whole new outlook on life. My attitude has changed, and I am back to doing the things I love. I can landscape and spend time in the garden now because it doesn’t hurt to kneel. And I can travel because I can move through the airport with ease and participate in all the activities I want. The best part about not having back pain is that I am able to pick up my new granddaughter. I didn’t want to miss out on being able to hold her. Laser Spine Institute made that possible.
