You can ask our Care Team any questions you have about the facility or surrounding area.

Clinic exam room

Our surgery center in Scottsdale is one of our larger Laser Spine Institute surgery centers, features 12 clinical exam rooms. In these exam rooms, you will meet with one of our physicians for your initial consultation and MRI report review. You will also meet the physician here for a physical examination prior to surgery and any postoperative appointments. We encourage you to allow your Care Partner to join you in the exam room to discuss any concerns with your physician and learn what to expect during your recovery period.

Patient café

Throughout your Patient Experience, you will have the opportunity to relax in between each physician appointment and exam. To make your stay with us more comfortable, we offer refreshments for our patients and their Care Partner and/or family in our patient café.

You can also take the time to relax with some television or surf the Internet with our free Wi-Fi. If you need anything during your time with us, please do not hesitate to reach out to a member of our Care Team.

MRI imaging suite

We offer a convenient, on-site MRI unit for patients who need an updated MRI report in order for our surgeons to accurately diagnose your condition and create a treatment plan for you. Our technicians will walk you through what to expect during your MRI and will answer any questions you have. Your MRI report will be reviewed by our medical staff to determine your next course of action.

Preoperative area

On the day of your surgery, you will be guided to our preoperative area to prepare for your upcoming procedure. In this area you will meet your surgeon and anesthesiologist. We encourage you to take this opportunity to ask the surgeon any last-minute questions about your procedure and expected recovery.

Operating room

Your minimally invasive surgery will be performed in one of our state-of-the-art operating rooms at our Scottsdale facility. Our surgeon’s passion for medical innovation helps us to stay ahead of the curve on technical advancements. Each of our operating rooms has high definition magnification and direct visualization tools, as well as highly efficient tools that allow our surgeons to perform spine surgery through a small, 1-inch incision.

Postoperative area

After your minimally invasive surgery is complete, you will be guided to our postoperative recovery area where you will be monitored by our nursing staff. During this time, our medical staff will monitor your vitals and ensure your comfort during your immediate postoperative recovery. Once you are deemed ready to leave, a nurse will meet with you and your Care Partner to discuss your recovery guidelines. If you have any questions during your recovery period, call our SPINE LINE.
