Laser Spine Institute’s Give & Grub Café to fight hunger in Tampa Bay
Changing lives is a big job — and we love every minute of it. It’s just one of the reasons our compassion reaches beyond our facility walls and into the places we call home.
While our facilities have expanded across the United States, we can’t forget about our start in Tampa Bay. That’s why we’re partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay through Laser Spine Institute’s very own Give & Grub Café.
What started as a gourmet food truck with a big purpose, our Give & Grub initiative is evolving to make an even bigger impact on local hunger. The Give & Grub Café is opening at our new corporate headquarters and ambulatory surgery center where our growing team will stay true to the mission: “buy one, give one.”
For each meal purchased at our Give & Grub Café, we will donate one meal to hungry children in Tampa Bay. Throughout the Give & Grub food truck’s 17-month run, Laser Spine Institute donated more than 180,000 meals to hungry kids in the area. Now, with our new Give & Grub Café taking shape at Laser Spine Institute Tampa, we’ll be able to help even more.
According to Feeding Tampa Bay, there are an estimated 700,000 people in west central Florida struggling with hunger — 250,000 of those are children. With the help of our caring team members and charitable partnerships, Laser Spine Institute will continue to fight hunger in our community.
