Patient café and waiting area
Our patient café and waiting area is designed for the comfort and convenience of our patients and their families. In between appointments, we invite you to enjoy refreshments and relax while you watch television, read, play board games or access our complimentary Wi-Fi.
If you have any questions about your appointments or schedules, we have team members in the waiting area who can assist you.
Clinic exam room
Our Cleveland center is equipped with nine exam rooms and two intake rooms. These will be used for your initial consultation as well as any additional appointments during your time with us, such as your preoperative and postoperative appointments.
Diagnostic imaging suite
Some patients are required to get additional MRI testing during their patient experience. This commonly occurs when a patient’s MRI report is more than six months old. Our surgeons must have an updated MRI report in order to accurately diagnose and treat your spine condition.
For your convenience, we have a diagnostic imaging suite with X-ray and MRI equipment available in our Cleveland facility.
Preparation will begin in our preoperative area on the day of your surgery. This is where you’ll meet your surgeon and anesthesiologist to review your procedure before heading into the operating room. We encourage you to include your Care Partner in this meeting, so you can both ask any questions about the upcoming surgery and recovery process.
Our Cleveland center has three Class C operating rooms where surgeries are performed. These rooms have the state-of-the-art technology and equipment our surgeons need to perform each minimally invasive procedure. Our outpatient procedures are a safer and effective alternative to traditional open neck or back surgery.^
Since our surgeries are performed as outpatient procedures, you’ll be able to return home or to your hotel the day of your operation after you’ve been cleared for release. Before you can leave, however, you must recover from the anesthesia in our postoperative recovery area. Our medical staff will monitor your progress and determine when you are able to leave the facility under the supervision of your Care Partner. Most people recover from the anesthesia within 60 to 90 minutes of surgery.
If you have any questions during your patient experience at our Cleveland surgery center, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team. We are here to guide you through your treatment process so you can find pain relief and get back to your life.
