Where some may see obstacles, Kimberley Esquivel sees opportunities. If faced with a challenge, she quickly embraces change. And when that unexpected detour comes her way, she easily adapts, changes course and navigates her way to a successful solution.
Change has been the one true constant in Kimberley’s career in health care. From caring for bedridden patients in nursing homes to thriving amid the slew of mergers and acquisitions in the organizations she worked for, she has taken it all in stride. And it’s this strong and steady style of leadership that’s sure to shape her legacy.
Kimberley’s bright and energetic personality shines through in her role as Laser Spine Institute’s Vice President of Revenue Management. To her, it’s not just about payments and processing, rather, it’s about making sure the people behind those documents know they matter too.
Her expertise in the areas of medical billing and coding is something she takes pride in. Kimberley is a Certified Professional Coder and a Certified Evaluation Management Coder, giving her an added level of proficiency in the complex field of revenue management.
Before joining Laser Spine Institute, Kimberley held top roles at BayCare Health System and Martin’s Point Health Care. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Husson University and is in the process of earning her Master of Business Administration in health care management from St. Leo University.
When not helping her teammates excel, Kimberley enjoys reading, kayaking, paddle boarding and spending time at the beach with her husband and two children.
